A students progression is determined by individual ability rather than an a instructors time frame. The demonstration of techniques must show flow and adaptability. All brick and blocks breaks for that grade must be completed before progressing further.

Yellow Belt

DEMONSTRATE

HAND WORK
The Jab, Lunge, Rear Cross, Front and Rear Hook, Backfist and Turning Backfist, Uppercut, Chop, Backhand, Ridgehand, Heel of the wrist, Palm, Forearm and elbow, Jumping Backfist and Jump Turning Backfist.

There are possibly more complex breaks that the candidate can perform and it is the instructors duty to inform the examiner of the candidates capabilities. Show understanding of acupressure points.

This grading takes place over 4 months at preset dates and times at the examiners discretion. A points system is employed and an 85% pass rate or above is expected. In the event of failure the candidate can request a re-test every 18 months, without the examiners consent.

All breaks at the examiners request, to be performed at strictest requirements. 90% pass rate required. Re-test to be performed every 2 years minimum. Grading performed over 6 month period. Breaking negotiable.

Examiner may request aid of other masters to properly examine candidate. Only higher black belts may take part in grading of this caliber.
